Start In The Roblox Engine Tab

First, install ExoPanda from exopanda.com if you haven't — our install guide covers it. Then open the Bootstrapper on the left-hand panel and select the Roblox Engine tab. Every change below lives here, and none of them touch the game itself — they only tune how your client renders.

Work down the Graphics & Performance section in order — these four changes are the core of how to reduce lag in Roblox:

MSAA → 1x. Open the dropdown and pick 1x. Edges get a little jagged, but the client renders noticeably faster.

Texture Quality → Lowest. The lowest setting means the least work for your GPU.

Rendering Mode → Direct3D 11 or Vulkan. Forcing a modern renderer is faster on most GPUs.

Lighting Technology → Voxel. Voxel is the cheapest lighting model and the smoothest on weaker hardware.

Render resolution is optional — leave it alone unless you want to push further, in which case a lower internal resolution buys extra frames.

Strip The Heaviest Visuals

Scroll to the Strip Visuals section and enable all three of these — together they drop rendering to the bare minimum:

Gray Sky — replaces detailed skyboxes with a flat gray.
No Grass — removes grass meshes entirely.
Lowest FRM Quality — forces the lowest internal render tier.

Save It As A Profile

At the bottom of the engine tab is the advanced area where you can edit raw Fast Flags — but you don't need to. Instead, save everything above as a profile. That way you can toggle this low-lag setup on and off, or keep a separate high-quality profile for when your PC has room to spare.

Lock A Frame Rate You Can Hold
